Jennifer is a fully licensed social worker. She specializes in marriage and family therapy and believes in an individualized family-centered approach to treatment. Jennifer focuses on a variety of marital and family issues, such as those related to mental health, substance use, trauma, challenging childhood behaviors, legal or CPS involvement, extramarital affairs, divorce and blended family needs. Jennifer has provided mental health and substance use therapy to adults, children and families in a variety of environments, including residential, in-home, outpatient and school settings. She is fully trained and experienced in various evidence-based treatments, including Trauma-Focused CBT, Seeking Safety and Confident Parenting. Jennifer also enjoys facilitating child and adult groups related to a variety of different topics.
Jennie currently facilitates a Girls Group for females on the autism spectrum and presents a quarterly AUTISM 101 event at BRAINS for individuals and families who have been recently diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.
Jennifer grew up in West Michigan and currently resides in Belmont with her family. She enjoys being outside with her four children and remains involved in various community activities.
