Podcast: Finding a Vision for Community’s Future

Community Vision provides individualized supports to people with disabilities in Portland, Oregon. We focus on supported living, employment, and connections in the community.
Jennifer Knapp worked in Illinois for 13 years, founding an innovative organization providing individual supports, supporting the self-advocacy movement, and working as an activist to shift Illinois from institutions to community support. She now is in Portland, Oregon working for Community Vision, a supported living provider that is developing new and exciting programs.
We are leading the way in accessibility & inclusion. To improve the ease of access to services and foster collaboration, we designed the Seven Corners Collaborative. Seven Corners is home to 7 nonprofits who all provide disability services. Designed around the principles of universal design, it contains many examples of accessibility, such as elevator kickplates and a kitchen with innovative modifications. We would love to have you swing by for a tour! Email us at info@cvision.org to set up a time.
